ISAs (Individual Savings Accounts) offer a good way to save no matter what your financial goals are.

Anyone who is resident in the UK and over 18 can invest in an ISA up to the current £7200 maximum limit each tax year. The main benefits for investors are easy access to their money and tax-free returns, as income generated by ISA savings and investments is free from personal UK Income and Capital Gains Tax.

You may invest in an ISA ( 1 cash up to the limit of £3600 and 1 stocks and shares for the remainder) in a single financial year.

You can also invest up to £10200 if you are age 50 or over, (applies to everyone after 6/4/10)
